Impact of Senate-Passed Resolution to Invalidate Public Charge Final Rule

The American Immigration Lawyers Association shared the following practice alert regarding the impact of the Senate-passed resolution to invalidate the public charge final rule:

Since President Biden is expected to veto the resolution, the 2022 Public Charge Rule remains in full effect despite the Senate vote and no one should be dissuaded from accessing benefits to which they are currently entitled.
